Week Seven Recap - 2/15/15

Iowa-Bound: Chris puts a difficult, heart-wrenching week behind him, but tough decisions remain at the cocktail party in Deadwood, South Dakota, where he sends home easygoing, carefree bachelorette Megan. He proceeds to break the rules once more and the other lucky women accompany him to his home state of Iowa, where they get a sneak peek of what life with the Bachelor might be like.
Game On: Jade has the other women pea-green with envy as Chris picks her to go to Arlington with him. She is skeptical as they tour the tiny town, but falls in love with its people – including Chris’ parents -- once they attend a local high school football game. Chris is thrilled that Jade would be up for sharing a life with him in Iowa.
Time to Meet the Friends: Whitney and Chris visit Iowa’s state capital of Des Moines, where they are inspired by a photo exhibit celebrating love to snap their own photos, capturing what love means to them. Afterwards, Chris introduces Whitney to his best friends, who grill her on her intentions. Will she raise red flags or win their hearts? It’s the latter. Whitney has their blessing.
The Road to Arlington: Back at the hotel, the remaining women decide to take a spontaneous road trip to Arlington to explore it themselves. In an OMG moment, they all finally realize what their future might be like. Britt is having second thoughts about whether this is what life really has in store for her, but then she changes her mind about Iowa much to the surprise of the other ladies.
Reassured: On this week’s group date, Chris takes three women to an ice skating rink for some fun, but clashing interests has one jealous woman warning him that Britt isn’t being truthful about her love of his hometown. Chris doesn’t see it that way though. He also sees how distressed Kaitlyn is feeling about things. Chris alleviates her fears by giving her a rose. She’s going on a hometown date!
Britt Bites Back: Britt is not happy that Kaitlyn got a rose. She’s not shy about saying that she’s hurt and confused. She goes on a controlled rant about how she doesn’t want her future husband to look at her as a second choice. Chris isn’t sure what position Britt is trying to put him in at the moment. He tells her that there’s always tomorrow before abruptly leaving the room. Carly is happy that Chris finally saw her housemate’s true colors. Is this the end of the line for Britt?

Week Six Recap - 2/9/15

She’s Such a Panic: All hell breaks loose when Kelsey faints after having a panic attack due to a canceled cocktail party. It happens. Paramedics are called in. That’s good since none of the other bachelorettes are racing to help. Perhaps they have no medical training. Or maybe they just think it’s all an act. Kelsey bounces back after a visit from Chris. Then it’s onto the cocktail party where, yes, Kelsey scores a rose. Mackenzie and Samantha, however, aren’t so lucky. Thankfully, neither of them fainted.
Horsing Around: It’s on to Deadwood, South Dakota for a taste of the Wild West. Becca is the lucky woman going on a one-on-one date. She and Chris meet at the foot of the Black Hills National Forest where he is looking forward to a first kiss. Their romantic horseback ride ends with an intimate dinner in front of a crackling campfire. They share plenty of laughs, but things turn serious when the couple gets cozy. Becca gets a rose and that elusive first kiss to boot.
Calling Out Kelsey: Drama ensues when the women, fed up with the ever-calculating Kelsey, decide to call her out on her questionable behavior. Kelsey promises to be more mindful of what she says to the ladies, but assures the world she’s in it to win it once she’s out of earshot.
Feeling Big & Rich: A group of the ladies are shocked to meet country superstars Big & Rich, but when they find out they need to write and perform their own love songs in front of a live audience, most of them come down with a major case of stage fright. One woman, however, seems quite at home, as she steals some red-hot kisses from the Bachelor in front of the other bachelorettes.
Feeling Small & Dissed: Chris starts things off with an off-key rendition of his song about his journey to find love. The women go on stage, one at a time, attempting to sing their hearts out in a struggle to earn Chris’ attention. But in a total twist, Chris grabs one lady and takes her to a sold out Big & Rich concert, leaving a group of jealous ladies in their wake.
Bad Blood in the Badlands: On the always unpredictable two-on-one date, Chris takes two combative women, Kelsey and Ashley I, on a helicopter ride over breathtaking Mount Rushmore before landing in the middle of the Badlands. Each bachelorette figures she will send the other one packing. The two of them badmouth each other to Chris and what transpires is one of the most explosive altercations ever. When the dust clears, both ladies are asked to go home.

Week Five Recap - 2/2/15

Chris and the 11 remaining women begin their journey around the country to find love in picturesque Santa Fe, New Mexico.
The Love Guru: Carly is the lucky woman to get the first one-on-one date. The couple has a very awkward, intimate meeting with the “Love Guru,” who puts them through a series of sexual exercises which leave them practically naked. They bond over their mutual discomfort. The sexual tension worked to Carly’s advantage, as she gets a rose.
The Black Widow: Kelsey, who shares the story of her late husband’s death with the other bachelorettes, is considered the “Black Widow” and disingenuous in the way she is presenting herself. She vows, however, to do whatever it takes to win Chris’ heart.
The River Wild: Nine adventurous women accompany Chris on a whitewater rafting trip to the Rio Grande River for one of the wildest rides of their lives. The outdoor adventure quickly turns dangerous when one bachelorette falls overboard into the icy rushing water. After the mishap, the group relaxes at a local hotel and gets ready to spend a special night with the Bachelor. However…
Blast from the Past: Jordan, a woman that Chris previously said goodbye to, returns to crash the party and attempts to get another chance to win Chris’ heart. The Bachelor complies with her wishes while dealing with the reactions of the rest of the women. Chris ultimately realizes that he can’t keep Jordan around, as it isn’t fair to the other ladies. He says goodbye to her again. As for the rose, that goes to Whitney.
Britt Happens: The next day, Chris sneaks into Britt’s hotel room in the early morning hours and whisks her away on one of the most romantic dates of the season: a hot air balloon ride as the sun rises. Part two of the couple’s passionate date might put this woman’s way ahead of the group. Britt gets the rose and a few undercover kisses to boot. Too bad the other bachelorettes don’t think she is being truthful about her intentions.
Kelsey Lately: Britt’s revelatory play-by-play of her date with Chris pushes Kelsey to make a secret visit to him. She tells her heartbreaking personal story which leads to their first kiss. Kelsey believes all of this will lead to her getting a rose this evening.
Getting Emotional: Chris was hit hard by the emotional conversation he had with Kelsey. He can’t keep it together. He has to excuse himself. Kelsey talks about their talk to the other ladies. The other women don’t buy her as being a genuine person. As for Chris, he knows exactly what he wants to do this night. There will be no cocktail party and the Rose Ceremony will have to wait. That’s because Kesley has just collapsed on the floor. To be continued.
