Week One 1/5/15 Recap

Chris Soules is ready to begin his journey to find love! After the stylish farmer was sent home by Andi Dorfman on The Bachelorette. One of the final three men, Chris was dismissed after he had emotionally confessed his love to Andi, but that meant the handsome bachelor was back on the market. Now, he is ready to put his heartache behind him to search for the one missing piece in his life – true love.
His journey begins with 15 women arriving at the mansion. He can’t wait to talk to them, and host Chris Harrison says, well then, go inside and get started. Chris heads inside to chat these ladies up, from the bold Kaitlyn to the hug-loving Britt, and everyone soon starts to wonder: Will it only be 15 women this season?
No. No, it won’t.
Fifteen more women arrive for a total of 30, and everything starts to get a bit testy as the first group of ladies have to watch the next group start taking up precious one-on-one time with the new Bachelor that they thought would be theirs. Some ladies get creative: Ashley S gives Brittany a flower that she plucks off a tree hoping that’ll satisfy her so she can steal Chris away. But some ladies have a rougher go of it, like Tara, who ends up drinking enough that staying upright during the rose ceremony proves a serious challenge.
The aforementioned Britt gets the First Impression rose as the night wears on, so she’s staying for sure. Spoiler alert: Kimberly did not get a rose. But after she has a few moments to consider what happened, she does the unthinkable -- she heads back into the house.
